Our Vision
YWAM Broome is a Christian missions organisation dedicated to serving Broome, Western Australia, and the surrounding areas of the Kimberley. We’re here to display Christ, bring hope, and empower the people of the Kimberley.
YWAM Broome is here in obedience to God’s call to share His love. Alongside our vision of seeing the Kimberley reached, the Lord has given us vision of tribal nations being reached with the Gospel and turning around to bring it to other nations as well.
Statement of Purpose
YWAM Broome is a missions centre founded on Christian Biblical principals that engages and empowers local and international people through evangelism, training and mercy ministries for the purpose of making disciples that will transform communities, towns and cities in Australia and beyond.
Implementation
Various strategies to see our calling and purpose fulfilled:
To see the people of the Kimberley walk into God’s calling in their life through evangelism, discipleship and empowerment.
To co-work with the local church, schools, organizations and government. - This includes reaching out to individuals and families in crisis.
Staff training and discipleship - for personal growth and ministry development.
To offer missions and discipleship training including Youth With A Mission’s Discipleship Training School.
To evangelise and disciple the people of Broome and various outreach locations and focuses - specifically in Broome, the whole of the Kimberley and Tribal Nations located in South America, Africa and the Pacific Islands.
To be part of the fulfilment of the God’s call to share His love specifically focusing on going into the Tribal Nations in South America, Africa and Pacific Islands, but also being willing to go into all the world as God leads.
